Mandarin Hat

This classic hat is woven in Toquilla straw by artisans in Ecuador. Styled with an extra wide cotton band, it is a versatile accessory that is equally suited to a day on the beach or a summer party. Artesano founders Claudia Estrada and Xavier Blum are committed to preserving Ecuador’s traditional craftsmanship by creating a beautiful collection made by local artisans. Each hat can take up to four months to craft, from sourcing the leaves of the Carludovica Palmata plant to hand weaving and finishing.
