Hermès Table Clock

A rare find, this fine table clock has been given a gilt-brass finish and features a stepped base design typical of the period. An elegant addition to a fireplace mantel, bedside table, or desk, it includes a calendar function, an alarm function, and an eight-day movement. Made in France for Hermès, which began as a maker of leather equestrian goods for European noblemen before expanding into luxury fashion. It is part of a one-of-a-kind collection of 20th century pieces curated by the curio-filled antiques emporium, Mantiques Modern.
